On a roll!
On to the next page! I'm really enjoying my new (or mildly new) sillouette cutter! AMAZING! Also, to the other pirates out there- I couldn't get myself to spell it arrrg. It just doens't seem right!

Finally Scrapbooking Halloween....
Now that the huge stress of the semester is over, I'm starting to work on several long awaited projects, which include my poor scrapbooks. So here, drum roll please, is page number one. (And can I say - as evident in these halloween photos- I have the sweetest husband ever!)

Monkey Madddnessss!
So I decided over break that it was finally time that I learned how to sew- especially since we now have an amazing sewing machine just ready to be used! My mom taught me the basics and I was able to make a bag... and then I made 3 more bags. As I was about to start the 4th, Mom suggested that maybe I try something a little more complicated. So I have moved on to project number 2- which happens to be Molly Monkey! I saw the pattern here at mmmcrafts a long time ago, but since I didn't know how to sew I could just enjoy the pretty pictures! I read the pattern, I sewed it and I now feel very accomplished! I am planning on sending it to my friend Leah, who just had a lil' baby girl! I think it turned out pretty, darn cute if I do say so myself!

webcam!
My Dad sent Robin and I a webcam the other day! I've been playing around with it and think I have it all figured out. We're all set up with Skype, and its been a lot of fun so far! :-)

my new sewing machine!
I spent my birthday monies on a sewing machine. It is wonderful. I will be starting to make all sorts of crafty fun-ness. I have used my Grandma's and my mother-in-law's machines to make things for our wedding, but I have never had my own. So this is a very exciting event. Robin and I have not had a sewing machine to use since moving to North Carolina, so this will help us a lot with future crafty projects! yay!
